Turn Spam into a Healthy Lunch!

Apparently it’s a theme week here at Outlook – because today’s post highlights another way to help those in need!

Chipotle, maker of giant delicious burritos, has come up with a unique marketing campaign called No Junk.  The idea? People can forward the spam emails they have received to; for every 10 emails Chipotle receives, they will donate $1 to The Lunch Box, an organization that provides school districts with tools to help them make healthy decisions for school breakfasts and lunches.

In addition to being an innovative idea (have YOU ever heard of anything like this before?), it’s a great marketing tool for Chipotle! The campaign ties into the chain’s emphasis on providing healthy, local, and organic food whenever possible … and I’d have to guess that it’s also providing them with email addresses for their direct mailing lists.
