Video Project Descriptions

March 25, 2010

On Monday, Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates uploaded a video to YouTube that shows some of the cool design processes behind the on-going Brooklyn Bridge Park project in New York. The video is descriptive and interesting, and more fun than reading the same information in text format.

Do you think videos like this could be an important A/E/C marketing element in the future? Or is it just a fun project with little ROI?

Things like this seem like a great way to take advantage of the large audience on the web! While YouTube itself doesn’t seem like it would offer much professional benefit as a site, the fact that it’s so easy to embed the videos in other places really would help get the message out there.
